Recently, China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) publicized the 2022 Green Manufacturing List, and Wayes Custom was awarded national “Green Factory” status. With this honor, Wayes Custom has now earned all three major national green titles in green manufacturing — “China Green Product,” “Green Supply Chain,” and “Green Factory” — cementing its role as an enterprise benchmark in promoting green and sustainable development.

Since 2016, MIIT has been building a green manufacturing system centered on green factories, green industrial parks, green supply chains, and green products. Among these, the green factory is the core supporting unit, focusing on greening the production process. Green factories are certified in accordance with GB/T 36132-2018 “General Principles for Green Factory Evaluation” — plants that achieve intensive land use, harmless raw materials, clean production, resource-recycled waste, and low-carbon energy.

To earn this certification, an enterprise must first be recommended by its provincial-level industry and information technology authority, then pass rigorous expert review, and remain subject to dynamic management of key green manufacturing indicators. Wayes Custom passed every layer of review to win this national-level authoritative recognition.

Green Development Philosophy Embedded in Home Customization

Wayes Custom maximizes raw material utilization through digital and intelligent upgrading. Technology innovations such as virtual manufacturing, intelligent production scheduling, and QR-code tracking have raised board material utilization from 85% to over 93%. The Whole-House Cloud BIM system simulates the customer’s entire home renovation in advance, enabling precise material calculation and reduced waste.

In Clean Production

Wayes Custom has implemented a series of measures to minimize pollutant generation. Since 2019, the company has practiced clean production: pollutants from the manufacturing process (dust, organic exhaust gases, etc.) and waste materials are each handled by dedicated equipment and teams for recycling or harmless disposal.

In Low-Carbon Energy

Wayes Custom has established an energy management platform that monitors and optimizes electricity and gas consumption of air compressors and major production equipment in real time, strengthening energy-saving management. Since the 13th Five-Year Plan period, Wayes has continuously implemented energy-saving projects, persisting in material conservation and emissions reduction, with comprehensive energy consumption per unit of product declining year after year. In recent years, Wayes has also optimized logistics and transportation, doubling the number of customers served per truck run, reducing transport frequency and lowering energy consumption.
